Who we are

FireIceBreath is run by Steve Lawrence, a sole trader based in Hampshire, UK. I'm the "data controller" for the personal information described here. Contact me about anything in this policy at steve@fireicebreath.co.uk.

What I collect and why

• Name, email, phone and booking details: to take and manage your booking and send reminders and Zoom links. Legal basis: contract.
• Payment details: taken and held by Stripe or PayPal, never by me; I see only that you've paid. Legal basis: contract.
• Health questionnaire answers: to check sessions are safe and suitable for you and to tailor them. Legal basis: your explicit consent.
• Emergency contact: to get help if you're unwell during a session. Legal basis: your consent and vital interests.
• Email sign-up and marketing preferences: to send occasional news about sessions and events. Legal basis: your consent (unsubscribe any time).
• Messages you send me: to reply to you. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Website cookies and usage: to make the site work and understand visits. Legal basis: consent (cookie banner), or strictly necessary.

Who I share it with

I only share information with the services that help me run FireIceBreath, and only what they need: GoDaddy (website, bookings and email marketing), Stripe and PayPal (payments), Microsoft 365 (email and the health questionnaire), Zoom (online sessions) and Cronofy (calendar sync). I never sell your information or share your health answers for marketing. Some of these providers store data outside the UK; they use approved safeguards such as UK data transfer agreements.

How long I keep it

• Health questionnaires and booking records: 3 years after your last session, then deleted.
• Financial records: 6 years, as HMRC requires.
• Email marketing: until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how I use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Where I rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email steve@fireicebreath.co.uk and I'll reply within one month.

Keeping it safe

Your information is held in password-protected accounts with two-step sign-in, and health answers are seen only by me.
